Aliya generates a laser beam with a length of 808nm, leading to the effect of selective photothermolysis - consisting in thermal heating of the hair matrix. The heated matrix is damaged, while thanks to the effect of selective photothermolysis, the epidermis and surrounding tissues remain safe.
Aliya targets the bulb and bulge of the terminal hair follicles with a wide variation in depth, providing excellence in treating legs, arms, cheeks, men’s backs and beards 1.
Aliya 808 nm wavelength has deep penetration. Besides the wavelength, the key to successful diode laser hair removal is the delivery of high energy into the skin, which is selectively absorbed by the melanin surrounding the hair follicle.
Featuring a power output of 8,000 W, Aliya allows to accurately adjust the fluence from 1 to 80 J/cm2 and repetition rate (frequency) up to 12 Hz for a customised treatment according to the different patient’s need.
HANDPIECE FEATURES
Aliya handpiece is specifically designed to treat both large and small areas - thanks to an applicator window of 10x21 mm.
The innovative and distinctive Contact Cooling System helps to protect the epidermis and it ensures a constant cooling from 1ºC throughout the full treatment for optimal patient comfort.
*Permanent hair reduction is defined as the long-term, stable reduction in the number of hairs re-growing when measured at 6, 9, and 12 months after the completion of a treat-ment regimen.
